My grandma was a formal person. They had two sconces in their entrée – brass wall fixtures with traditional cloth lampshades that looked way too tiny for the ornate fixture… I inherited those, and here they are, renewed.

I love how the porcelain “wilted” in the oven, it just did its own thing, adding beauty and dynamicism to the piece.
